HAJJAH February 21. 2024 (Saba) - A meeting in Hajjah province, headed by province's agent and head of the provinces' agricultural committee Ibrahim Amer, has discussed the mechanism for improving the agricultural sector in Shares district.
The meeting listened to the problems and concerns of farmers in the district, the difficulties they face, ways to overcome them, and develop appropriate solutions for them.
Amer stressed the keenness of the revolutionary leadership to move towards agriculture and exploit agricultural lands to grow crops, which are famous for their cultivation, pointing to the uniqueness of the Shares district in growing the finest types of coffee.
He stressed the need to respond to the directives of the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and the government’s directions in strengthening the factors of steadfastness by achieving self-sufficiency and food security.
Amer stressed the keenness of the Supreme Agricultural and Fisheries Committee and the province leadership to overcome all difficulties, provide seedlings, and contribute to building protection barriers from floods.
