Qahim & Al-Bashri inaugurate Holy Month consumer exhibition in Hodeida

HODEIDA February 24. 2024 (Saba) - The Governor of Hodeida, Muhammad Ayyash Qahim, the First Undersecretary of the province, Ahmed Mahdi Al-Bishri, and the Undersecretary of Industry and Trade Ministry for the Internal Trade Sector, Muhammad Qatran, opened the Holy Month Consumer Food Exhibition.

The exhibition, which runs from 14-30 Shaaban, in the Great Exhibition Hall of the Yemeni Economic Corporation, in coordination with the local authority and the industrial office in the province, includes the products of 30 local national companies on the occasion of the advent of the holy month of Ramadan.

At the opening, Governor Qahim praised the exhibition and the national companies participating in it, within the framework of displaying local food products in conjunction with the advent of the Holy Month, stressing the importance of the exhibition contributing to reducing prices for citizens.

While the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry pointed out the importance of this consumer exhibition, including price reductions commensurate with the purchasing power of consumers, especially with the advent of the month of Ramadan, which requires taking into account the conditions of the poor and low-income people.

At the opening, which was attended by the governor’s deputy, Muhammad Halisi, the director of the Economic Corporation, Ali Hamid, and his deputy, Abdul Salam Salah, the director of the province’s industry office, Saleh Muhammad, confirmed that the exhibition comes within the framework of strengthening the partnership between the merchant , the consumer and coordinating with national companies to present competitive sales offers and contribute to alleviating the burdens of citizens.

In turn, the director of the Economic Corporation branch in Hodeida, Yasser Al-Shoumi, explained that the exhibition includes the products of 30 local companies, offering offers for their various products at prices that suit the purchasing power of the consumer.
