WASHINGTON February 27. 2024 (Saba) - The Pentagon has announced the death of a US Navy pilot, after he burned himself in front of the Zionist entity's embassy in Washington in protest against the war in Gaza.
According to the American media, the pilot, Aaron Bushnell, 25, died from the serious burns he sustained on Sunday, when he set his body on fire in front of the Zionist embassy in Washington, apparently in protest against the war in Gaza.
The New York Times quoted a Fire Department spokesman as saying Members of the US Secret Service were able to extinguish the flames burning in the pilot’s body, and he was later taken to the hospital with serious burns.
Pilot Bushnell appeared in his military uniform in a video recording broadcast live on the Internet, in which he said “He will no longer be complicit in genocide,” then he set himself on fire while shouting, “Free Palestine.”
It is noteworthy that the embassy of the Zionist enemy entity in Washington was the target of ongoing protests against the war on Gaza, within the framework of the massive pro-Palestinian demonstrations that the United States witnessed.
This protest comes in light of the American administration’s support for the aggression carried out by the Zionist enemy forces since October 7, 2023 against the Palestinian people in Gaza.
The aggression on Gaza killed around 30,000 Palestinians and massive destruction of infrastructure amid accusations that the Zionist entity has committed “ "genocide" before the International Court of Justice.
