China says global deficit in human rights management becomes more serious

BEIJING February 28. 2024 (Saba) - Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning has warned that the global deficit in managing human rights has become more serious and is becoming more severe with the emergence of crises and conflicts, calling on all parties to work to enhance unity and cooperation among them.

According to what was reported by Chinese media, Ning called on the international community to shoulder its responsibilities in protecting every country's human rights fairly, take protecting their interests as the starting point and goal of the human rights issue, and put people's rights to survival and development in a more prominent and urgent position.

The Chinese spokeswoman reiterated her country's opposition to interference in the internal affairs of other countries under the guise of human rights, calling for constructive dialogue and the promotion of human rights through development and cooperation.

On Monday, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi stressed the importance of the countries of the world standing against hegemonic policies based on force and double standards, interference in the affairs of other countries, and restricting their development under the guise of human rights.
