MOSCOW April 24. 2024 (Saba) - Russian air defenses shot down eight Ukrainian drones that tried to target provinces in the central part of Russia.
The Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement today that "overnight attempts by the Kiev regime to carry out a number of terrorist attacks using drones on facilities in the territory of Russia were thwarted."
The statement added that the air defense systems destroyed eight Ukrainian drones, three over the territory of the Kursk region, two over the Belgorod region, two over the Voronezh province and one over the Smolensk region.
The Kiev regime tries daily to attack Russia's border and central regions, using several types of weapons such as drones and missiles, causing many civilian casualties.
