Dr. Bin Habtoor meets Al-Junaid & Abu Haliqa

SANA'A April 24. 2024 (Saba) - The caretaker Prime Minister, Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh bin Habtoor, met today , Wednesday, his Deputy for National Vision Affairs, Mahmoud Al-Junaid, and the Minister of State for the Affairs of the parliament and Shura Council in the government, Dr. Ali Abu Haliqa.

During the meeting, the achievement report on the plan for the year 1445 AH was reviewed, which includes the various axes of the national vision at the level of various government administrative units and localities, as well as the levels of achievement in other sectors.

Dr. Bin Habtoor praised the institutional work of the Executive Office in following up and evaluating the progress of implementation of the annual plan and achievement levels in all administrative units and localities.

He stressed the government’s support for the Executive Office to reduce obstacles and address problems that affect the course of implementation.

In turn, Dr. Abu Haliqa reviewed the governmental issues scheduled to be presented to the parliament in its new session, which will begin next Saturday, related to the legislative and oversight aspects.

Dr. Bin Habtoor expressed his appreciation for the coordination role played by Dr. Abu Haliqa between the government and the parliament , the Shura Council and his diligent follow-up of the various complementary tasks between the government and the two chambers.

He highly appreciated the great role of the parliament as a constitutional, legislative and oversight institution during the current circumstance that the nation is going through, and the efforts it is making in the context of strengthening the unity of the national ranks in the face of the American-Saudi-Emirati aggression and blockade.

He renewed the government's commitment and keenness to fulfill its institutional obligations towards the Council in a way that strengthens its legislative and oversight role.
