SA'ADA May 19. 2024 (Saba) - The Yemeni northern governorate of Sa'ada on Sunday saw the kickoff of (Sa'ada Group) football competition for students enlisted in summer courses at provincial level.
The tournament includes four competing groups; each group consists of three governorates, with Sa'ada Group involving Amran, Jawf and Sa'ada.
At the opening game, the Salam sports ground saw Amran team winning Jawf rival 6-2.
As part of summer programs, the sports contest helps introduce students - from different provinces - to each other, director of Sa'ada youth and sports office, Abdulellah al-Hakim, said at the kickoff.
