Abu Safiya said in an exclusive interview with the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) on Monday: Of course, it is no secret to anyone that Kamal Adwan Hospital is the only hospital that still provides all health services in the northern Gaza Strip, and it is the only hospital that contains an intensive care department, as well as a neonatal department, a premature birth department and a dialysis department... and others.
He explained that this small hospital does not have the capacity to accommodate the large number of injured, which reached in the last period more than 300 injuries and more than 12 martyrs within 24 hours.
He added: "Frankly, we work at the minimum in this hospital because there are no supplies, consumables or medical tools."
In addition to the displacement of some medical staff for fear of heavy shelling in the vicinity of Kamal Adwan Hospital.
In response to a question about the availability of diesel to the hospital, Abu Safiya replied, "We only have diesel in small quantities that are hardly enough for a few days."
He pointed out that what was sent from the World Health Organization are small quantities that are almost enough for one week only.
"Of course, we asked them and appealed to them to provide us with more diesel so that we can provide a safe medical service, but unfortunately so far we have not received an answer," he said.
