BEIJING May 23. 2024 (Saba) - China on Thursday commenced a two-day display of military might encircling Taiwan, deploying naval vessels and aircraft to enforce what they deem as "separatist acts" with unwavering force.
As reported by China's Xinhua news agency, military spokesperson Li Shi emphasized that the maneuvers entail aggressive patrols by both ships and aircraft in close proximity to Taiwan, alongside coordinated operations within and beyond the island's perimeter, aimed at assessing the combined combat capabilities of the Chinese forces.
