GAZA May 29. 2024 (Saba) - The Palestinian Red Crescent Society evacuated the Society's Al-Quds Field Hospital from the Mawasi Rafah area to the Mawasi Khan Yunis area due to the threats of the Zionist enemy.
It said in a statement on Wednesday that the evacuation came after the increase in the size of the Israeli occupation threats, the continuation of artillery and air shelling in its surroundings, and the evacuation of the surrounding area of the population completely.
The Society announced yesterday, Tuesday, the martyrdom of one of the crews of Al-Quds Field Hospital, Issam Ruhi Mohammed, after targeting his home in Al-Bureij camp in the Central Governorate, raising the number of martyrs of the Society's crews to 30 martyrs, including 17 who were martyred while performing their humanitarian duty since the start of the aggression on the Gaza Strip.
It is noteworthy that medical sources confirmed yesterday that all hospitals in Rafah governorate were out of service except for Tal Al-Sultan Maternity Hospital, in light of the continuation and expansion of the Israeli incursion, and the deliberate targeting of many hospitals and primary care centers.
