HODEIDA May 30. 2024 (Saba) - The Subcommittee for Summer Activities and Courses in Hodeida province on Thursday launched cultural competitions for students under the slogan “Science and Jihad.”
At the inauguration, which was held between the students of the Martyr al-Qaid Model School and al-Aqsa Flood School in Hodeida city square, the first deputy governor and head of the subcommittee Ahmed al-Bishri confirmed that cultural methodological competitions are an essential focus of summer activities to encourage students to compete and excel.
Al-Bishri explained that the competitions include all model and open schools in the province's districts to motivate students to increase their knowledge, memorize the Qur’an, and in the fields of language, poetry, public speaking, theatre, mental skills, and other sciences that enhance their abilities and culture.
In addition, the students of the Martyr Leader Model Summer School in the city of Hodeida organized a cultural evening that included many creative and cultural participations.
The participants’ words expressed their pride in the excellence and diversity of the summer schools this year in cultural, religious, social and recreational activities and the students’ interaction with them.
