Palestinian Prisoners' Club: Enemy intensifies arrest campaigns, deliberately spreads diseases in its prisons
[30/ May/2024]
OCCUPIED AL-QUDS May 30. 2024 (Saba) - In conjunction with its ongoing aggression against the Gaza Strip for nearly eight months, the Zionist enemy carries out daily raids and arrests in various areas of the occupied West Bank.

The Palestinian Prisoners' Club commented on Thursday on the reality of arrests and prisoners. He pointed to the state of overcrowding inside the Zionist prison sections, due to the high frequency of arrests.

He stressed the rise in the number of prisoners with skin diseases "dramatically and unprecedented". He pointed out that the spread of diseases comes as a result of the lack of the minimum basic needs, lack of ventilation, and the isolation of prisoners in cells where there is no sunlight.

The Prisoners' Club stressed a major crime carried out by enemy forces against prisoners, which is "the transfer of prisoners with infectious diseases from section to section, with the aim of doubling the number of injuries."

He pointed out that there are children among the injured prisoners, specifically in Megiddo prison. He stressed that the enemy turned the prisoner's need for treatment into a tool for torture.

Since the beginning of the aggression on Gaza, the Zionist enemy prison administration has confiscated all prisoners' belongings, including clothes.
