KERMAN May 30. 2024 (Saba) - An earthquake measuring 4.7 on the Richter scale struck the outskirts of the city of Rawar in the north of Iran's southeastern Kerman province at dawn on Thursday, and initial reports showed no casualties so far.
The Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) quoted the Seismological Institute at the University of Tehran as saying: The earthquake occurred at 4:37 am local time (1:07 am GMT), 33 km from the city of Raor and at a depth of ten km from the earth's surface.
According to the report of the Crisis Operations Center at Kerman University of Medical Sciences, according to the assessment of the specialized teams in the areas affected by the earthquake, no case of injury or death has been reported so far.
