BEIJING May 30. 2024 (Saba) - The joint statement issued by Aamal before the tenth session of the ministerial meeting of the Arab-Chinese Cooperation Forum, in Beijing, on Thursday, condemned the continued Zionist aggression against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

According to the Palestinian news agency Wafa, the joint statement condemned the Zionist aggression on the city of Rafah, the bombing of the tents of the displaced, the control of the Rafah crossing, and the refusal to implement plans and attempts to forcibly displace the Palestinian people outside their land.

The joint statement condemned "the policy of starving the Palestinian people and exposing them to famine, the deadly siege that cuts off all means of life in the Gaza Strip, and the systematic destruction of residential neighborhoods and infrastructure in the Strip."

The statement called on the Security Council to adopt a binding resolution to achieve an immediate, comprehensive and permanent ceasefire, stop the forced displacement against the Palestinian people, ensure the flow of relief aid to the entire Gaza Strip, implement the relevant Council resolutions, and restore normal life in the Gaza Strip.

The statement also denounced the use of the United States veto to prevent the State of Palestine from obtaining full membership in the United Nations.

He expressed his support for the provisional orders and measures issued by the International Court of Justice in the case filed by South Africa against the Zionist enemy for its violation of the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide, stressing the need for the enemy entity to comply with its legal obligations, in particular international humanitarian law.

The statement stressed that the Zionist enemy must bear responsibility for the deteriorating humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip, as the occupying Power.
