BAYDA June 02. 2024 (Saba) - The Governor of Al-Bayda Abdullah Idris launched on Sunday the second phase of the Community Initiatives Projects Support Program, which is implemented by the Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit at the Ministry of Finance in partnership with the community and the local authority.
At the inauguration, the Governor of Al-Bayda referred to the developmental and service role of the Central Interventions Unit by supporting a number of community projects and initiatives.
He praised the interest of the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council in implementing service and development projects and supporting community initiatives, stressing the importance of implementing initiative projects to improve services and alleviate the suffering of citizens in light of the current conditions that the country is going through.
Governor Idris praised the interaction of the people of the governorate and the community committees in implementing many self-initiatives in the field of roads, education, water, dams and barriers, noting the efforts of the central intervention unit of the governorate and supporting it with cement and diesel to implement and complete a number of projects and initiatives, especially in rural areas.
For his part, Eng. Al-Shami stressed the keenness to support and motivate the community to implement development and service initiatives projects, explaining that the second phase includes the distribution of ten thousand bags of cement, ten tons of iron, and 20 thousand liters of diesel, in addition to providing some fuel for equipment in cooperation with the local authority in the governorate.
