OCCUPIED QUDS June 02. 2024 (Saba) - Hezbollah has launched a Burkan rocket towards the "Jaipur" camp in the northern settlement of Kiryat Shmona, leaving "severe damage," the Zionist army said on Saturday.
"Hezbollah fired a Burkan rocket this morning, hitting the Jaipur camp, which is the headquarters of the 769th Division in the city of Kiryat Shmona," the Israeli army radio said.
The IDF's 769th Division is responsible for securing the border in Sector East between Israel and Lebanon.
There was "serious damage" to the camp, the radio said, with no report on casualties.
Earlier on Saturday, Hebrew news accounts on Telegram broadcast videos for "scenes of a rocket falling in the Jaipur camp", showing extensive destruction inside the camp.
For its part, Hezbollah claimed, in a statement, responsibility for targeting the Kiryat Shmona barracks opposite the Lebanese border, which led to the outbreak of fire in part of the site.
