Death toll rises in Gaza conflict: Over 36,000 killed, 82,000 injured
[03/ June/2024]
GAZA June 03. 2024 (Saba) - The death toll resulting from the conflict in the Gaza Strip has reached a staggering 36,479, with 82,777 reported injuries, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza.

The majority of those affected are children and women. These figures have been steadily rising since the seventh of October, 2023.

Reports from the Ma'an News Agency indicate that the Israeli military, often referred to as the Zionist forces, have been involved in a series of attacks resulting in numerous casualties.

In the past 24 hours alone, four separate incidents have been labeled as massacres, resulting in the deaths of 40 individuals and injuries to 150 more.

The attacks have also caused severe damage to hospitals, hindering medical aid efforts.

The Ministry of Health has highlighted the ongoing challenges faced by rescue teams in reaching victims trapped under rubble or stranded on roads due to the intensity of the conflict.

Despite efforts by ambulance and civil defense crews, some individuals remain inaccessible.

Since the onset of hostilities last October, the Gaza Strip has been subjected to a relentless onslaught by the occupation forces, resulting in a humanitarian crisis of unprecedented scale.

The conflict has led to widespread displacement, with two million people affected, and has exacerbated existing challenges, particularly in Gaza and its northern regions.

The tight siege imposed on the area has further compounded the humanitarian situation, leaving residents in dire need of assistance.
