BAYDA June 03. 2024 (Saba) - A meeting in Al-Bayda Governorate on Monday, chaired by Governor Abdullah Idris, discussed the level of implementation of central intervention projects at the Ministry of Finance in a number of development and service fields.
The meeting reviewed the most prominent central interventions and the progress of project implementation in the sectors of roads, health, education, survey and paving roads in the province for 98 projects at a cost of two billion and 802 million and 257 thousand riyals, including the contribution of the Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit at the Ministry of Finance in the amount of 530 million and 54 thousand riyals.
In the meeting, the Governor of Al-Bayda stressed the importance of integrating community and official efforts to support initiatives and follow up the implementation of projects to contribute to improving services and the needs of the health sector, water, roads, agriculture, dams, water barriers and solid land reclamation.
He praised the developmental and service role of the Central Interventions Unit by supporting a number of community projects and initiatives.
Idris praised the interest of the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council in implementing service and development projects and supporting community initiatives to improve services and alleviate the suffering of citizens in light of the current conditions the country is going through.
