GAZA June 04. 2024 (Saba) - The Euro-Mediterranean Observatory for Human Rights said it has documented increasing cases of killings committed by the Zionist enemy army through direct fire and dropping explosive bombs from small-sized drones known as “quadcopters”.
The Observatory confirmed in a statement on Tuesday that the enemy army has turned the drones into an intelligence air weapon and then into a means of killing and execution outside the law and the judiciary.
It explained that its field teams documented the execution of the occupation forces of citizens who raise white flags, such as Mrs. Selah Muhammad Ahmad Odeh (52 years old) from Jabalia camp, who was executed in front of her family members by direct fire from Quadcopter drones on May 21.
The Zionist enemy uses these drones to terrorize Palestinians and negatively affect their mental health by making terrifying sounds, directing soldiers' orders, as well as their constant presence in the air.
The Observatory stressed that drones are not in themselves illegal weapons such as internationally banned weapons, but their use must be in accordance with the rules of international humanitarian law applicable in the context of armed conflicts, just like any other weapon that is allowed to be used, which Israel does not adhere to.
