MOSCOW June 04. 2024 (Saba) - The Russian Ministry of Defense late on Monday said its forces killed about 1,550 Ukrainian soldiers and shot down a warplane and 41 drones during the past 24 hours, in light of the continuation of the war between the two countries since February 2022.
The Russian forces improved their positions at the axes of fighting in Kharkov and Donetsk in eastern Ukraine, as well as targeted Ukrainian forces and equipment in the province of Zaporozhe (south), and shot down at this axis a Su-25 offensive aircraft, the Russian defense said in its daily report on the course of the war.
The forces destroyed 18 HIMARS and Olkha rocket launchers, two French-made Hammer guided bombs, and 41 Ukrainian drones, it added.
