Beit Hanoun ambush proves demise of usurping entity will be at hands of resistance men
[08/ June/2024]
SANA'A June 8. 2024 (Saba) -Through its complex and elaborate ambush that targeted the Zionist “Netzah Yehuda” Brigade and lasted 26 hours in Beit Hanoun... the Palestinian resistance in all its sects proved that its men are the heroes of this stage, and that the demise of the usurping entity will be at their hands or the hands of their sons, and that they are the honor of the nation.

On Thursday evening, on the Qatari Al Jazeera channel, the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, revealed the details of a complex ambush carried out by its resistors in Beit Hanoun in the northern Gaza Strip, in late May, and lasted 26 hours.

A leader in the Brigades said: The ambush was carried out in three stages, and lasted 26 continuous hours, after the Zionist enemy forces advanced towards Beit Hanoun according to the path that the Qassam fighters had predicted in advance.

It is noteworthy that the enemy army had returned to Beit Hanoun on May 22nd, but on the same day, Al-Qassam announced the implementation of a complex ambush targeting Zionist soldiers in two stages, the first detonating a thunder bomb and throwing hand grenades at a foot force, then detonating a shock device in the rescue force, three Zionist soldiers sniped in the same area, and pictures of the sniping operation were published.

The operation began at dawn on Tuesday, May 21, when Al-Qassam fighters spotted the Zionist special forces from the “Netzah Yehuda” Battalion of the Kfir Brigade as they infiltrated Beit Hanoun, and reached the vicinity of the Agriculture School north of the city, advancing a distance of more than 1,300 meters.

A leader in the Al-Qassam Brigades explained that the enemy forces advanced under the eyes of the fighters from the northern and eastern axis of Beit Hanoun at dawn on Tuesday, and were followed up. During the first stage of the ambush, Al-Qassam fighters detonated explosive devices against individuals in Ain Nafaq near the enemy soldiers, then they fired hand grenades at the force. They targeted Zionists, and when the rescue force was called to the place, and when attempted to rescue them, they were targeted with a strobe device, and the rest were killed and wounded.

Despite the withdrawal of the force from the place, the Zionist enemy army sent a senior officer to supervise the site of the operation to reinforce the military movement in the area... However, “the officer responsible for the mission was spotted, and the Mujahideen targeted him and his assistants in a unique sniping operation, where he was wounded.” "Two soldiers were shot once, and the fighters followed them with the third," according to what the Qassami leader confirmed.

Hours after this operation, the forces operating in the axis were evacuated, but the Zionist enemy forces returned to the place again several hours later, which the Qassam commander commented on, saying: “We expected forces to come to work in the eye of the tunnel, which we used to carry out the ambush, so the Mujahideen booby-trapped the eye of the tunnel.”

Al Jazeera broadcast exclusive scenes from the third stage of the ambush, which showed the process of booby-trapping the eye of the tunnel in preparation for the return of the Zionist forces, which is what happened on Tuesday night, as enemy soldiers arrived at the eye of the booby-trapped tunnel.

The Zionist enemy forces lowered a robot with a camera and the soldiers entered the tunnel's eye to destroy it, where the tunnel was blown up with everyone in it, so the enemy army soon withdrew all its forces from the entire advance axis in Beit Hanoun, and withdrew to inside the border fence, according to what the Qassam commander said.

The channel also broadcast pictures of the process of evacuating the dead and wounded Zionist soldiers from the site of the operation, which lasted 26 continuous hours of monitoring, booby-trapping, and clashes, and witnessed two bombing operations and the sniping of an officer and soldiers.

It is noteworthy that the enemy army admitted that three of its soldiers were killed last May 22, in battles in the northern Gaza Strip. Thus, the number of Zionist soldiers who were injured in ground battles in Gaza rose to 1,895, according to what the enemy announced according to its data.

The Zionist enemy army indicated that 31 soldiers are currently receiving treatment and are in serious condition, 191 in moderate condition, and 40 in minor condition.

According to Zionist data, 646 officers and soldiers have been killed since the beginning of the war on October 7th, including 294 in ground battles in the Gaza Strip.

The video published by the Al-Qassam Brigades of the Beit Hanoun ambush reflected the enormous planning ability of the Palestinian resistance and the precise skillful implementation of all the stages it went through. It also clearly revealed the weakness of the enemy army and the incompetence of its leaders and members.

Beit Hanoun witnessed the first incursion by the Zionist enemy forces on October 27, which ended with the withdrawal of the Zionist forces from the northern regions late last December, before they returned to the city four times, where they destroyed more than 80 percent of the city’s buildings, seeking to eliminate the Hamas fighting brigades there.

The military and strategic expert, Major General Fayez Al-Duwairi, confirmed through his analysis that the complex ambush carried out by the Al-Qassam Brigades in Beit Hanoun in the northern Gaza Strip “beyond imagination and will be studied later in higher military colleges, American and Chinese special units, and others.” Pointing out that what happened to Qasami’s planning, patience, and forward-looking vision for the next step are beyond imagination.

Al-Duwairi talked about the symbolism of the place, where Beit Hanoun is the northern eastern corner of the Gaza Strip, which was subjected to intense bombardment, since the evening of the seventh of last October, and enemy forces entered it by land, at the end of the same month... pointing out that the Beit Hanoun Battalion still there - 232 days after The Zionist ground incursion is effective and capable of controlling the rhythm of the battle, and has a forward-looking ability to determine the next steps.

He stressed that this operation also proves that the information available about the tunnel network to all intelligence services is still “very limited, vague, and within the gray circle.”

Observers praised the greatness of what happened in the Beit Hanoun complex ambush operation, and the appearance of Abu Hamza Fayyad (Commander of the Beit Hanoun Battalion) personally leading the fighters, even though the Zionist enemy announced that he had been assassinated some time ago.

It is worth mentioning that the Palestinian resistance, with all its strength, and after eight months of the war, continues to inflict losses on the Zionist enemy army, as the Palestinian resistance factions continue to announce targets that inflict losses on the enemy army, the latest of which was the Qassam Brigades’ announcement on Wednesday of killing and wounding more than 15 Zionist soldiers east of Rafah, while last Sunday it confirmed the capture, killing and wounding of Zionist soldiers during a complex operation after soldiers were lured into a tunnel in the Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip, despite the enemy army’s expectation that the resistance would be weakened.
