MOSCOW June 09. 2024 (Saba) - In a remarkable display of resilience and determination, the Russian Emergencies Ministry announced on Sunday that seven individuals trapped beneath the debris of a residential building, targeted in a bombing raid by Kiev forces last Friday morning, have been successfully rescued.

According to a report by RT, the ministry declared the conclusion of rescue operations at the site, emphasizing the arduous nature of the mission which spanned over 24 hours. Rescue teams, employing specialized equipment and resorting to manual efforts when necessary, tirelessly toiled to extricate survivors from the wreckage.

The devastating assault, initiated by Ukrainian forces on civilian infrastructure in Luhansk, unleashed a barrage of destruction, with five American-made "Atakum" missiles deployed, four of which were intercepted before impact.

Governor Leonid Pasichnik of Luhansk disclosed the harrowing extent of the damage inflicted, revealing that over 30 multi-story buildings in the eastern precincts of Luhansk bore the brunt of the assault. The collateral toll extended to educational institutions, with two schools, three kindergartens, and a local college among the casualties of the Ukrainian offensive.
