SANA'A June 16. 2024 (Saba) - The Bonyan Development Foundation launched the distribution of sacrificial meat to the poor , needy in Capital secretariat and the provinces of Sana’a, Amran, and Al-Mahweet on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha.
At the inauguration, which was attended by Deputy Minister of Fisheries Taher Khater and Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry and Trade Muhammad Hamran, the head of the Foundation’s field coordination sector, Ali Maher, and the project officer, Yahya Al-Turki, explained that the sacrificial animal project targets 41,000 needy families in partnership with the community, the General Authority for Zakat, and the General Authority for Insurance and Pensions and companies:
Yemen Telecom, Kamran, Sabafon, Yemen Mobile, You, Nana and other partners
Maher and Al-Turki stated that the process of distributing the sacrifices takes place through 164 distribution points in all the municipality’s districts and parts of Sana’a Province, the city of Amran, and the city of Al-Mahwit, in a way that preserves the dignity of the beneficiaries, nearly a thousand volunteers and philanthropists participate in the distribution.
We indicated that the value of the sacrificial project reaches 200 million riyals.
For his part, the Undersecretary for Neighborhood Affairs, Ismail Al-Jarmouzi, praised the efforts of Bonyan Foundation , its active role in the development and relief aspects, including the sacrificial project to alleviate the suffering of the poor , needy and bring and joy to their souls.
