Transport Minister directs to raise readiness in Sana'a Airport to receive guests of Allah

SANA'A June 19. 2024 (Saba) - The Caretaker Minister of Transport, Abdul Wahab Al-Durra, directed the Civil Aviation and Meteorology Authority, the Sana'a Airport Administration and the relevant authorities at the airport to raise readiness to receive pilgrims to Holy House of God and provide internationally applicable services.

Transport Minister indicated to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that 52 flights will arrive at Sana'a International Airport coming from the Holy Land carrying more than eight thousand male and female pilgrims via the Yemeni Airlines Company after performing the Hajj and Umrah rituals for the year 1445 AH.

He pointed out that these flights will arrive successively at Sana'a Airport, starting tomorrow, June 20, and continuing until June 26.

Transport Minister affirmed the keenness and interest of the Revolutionary Leadership and the Supreme Political Council towards the guests of God from their departure until their return to the homeland.

He reiterated the operational, professional and technical readiness of Sana'a International Airport to receive flights around the clock in accordance with international conditions , requirements and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
