US Army Commander: We will not be able to protect occupying entity in war with Hezbollah
[24/ June/2024]
WASHINGTON June 24. 2024 (Saba) - The Commander of the US Army, General Charles Brown, warned of the great difficulties the United States might face in the event of a large-scale war against Hezbollah, stressing Washington's inability to help the occupying entity.

He stressed that any extension of the conflict between the Zionist enemy and Hezbollah on the northern border would threaten the entire region with a large and widespread war.

Brown said, "The United States continues to hold talks with Israeli leaders." A warning against the expansion of the conflict, the important message that is conveyed is the necessity of thinking about the secondary impact of any operation in Lebanon, and how it could affect all forces in the region.

He stressed that from the United States' point of view, what is most important is the safety of the American soldiers stationed in the region. He did not clarify whether special security arrangements had been made in preparation for the possibility of expanding fighting between Israel and Hezbollah, but he confirmed that no American base in the Middle East had been attacked since February.
