OCCUPIED AL-QUDS June 27. 2024 (Saba) - Al- Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine, announced that its Jenin brigades was responsible for the “Jenin ambush” that targeted enemy forces at midnight last night near Jenin city in the West Bank, and led to the death of a Zionist officer and the injury of 17 others.

The military spokes Al- Quds Brigades, Abu Hamza, said in tweets on his channel on the “Telegram” platform today, Thursday, that the fighters of the “Jenin Battalion” were able, at midnight last night, to blow up two military vehicles as a prelude to a compound ambush in Marj Bin Amer Plain area, north of Jenin.

He added that the killing of the Jenin brigades left the entire crew of the two vehicles dead and wounded, and then there was a direct clash with the rescue forces, in which they also caused certain injuries.

He confirmed the detonation of more than six explosive devices, and the direct clash with enemy forces penetrating several areas in Jenin and its camp for more than eight continuous hours during “Operation Bass Jenin 2.”

"In light of the simultaneous and escalating action in all arenas and axes of conflict, we affirm our steadfastness and move forward in jihad, struggle and valor in defense of our legitimate right to achieve the goals of our oppressed people and their just resistance," he said.

"We will not leave the battlefields and confrontation until the occupation is defeated, and the enemy will have no choice but a humiliating withdrawal and wasted dignity in the West Bank, Gaza, and all the arenas in the face of the valor of resistance and the legendary steadfastness of our dear people," He added.

On Thursday morning, the enemy army admitted the killing of a sniper squad leader in “Kfir Battalion,” and the wounding of 17 others with varying injuries in a Palestinian resistance ambush near Jenin city in the northern West Bank.
