BEIGING June 27. 2024 (Saba) - China's Defense Ministry warned today that the United States continues to fabricate lies to discredit other countries, expressing firm opposition from the Chinese side.
Xinhua quoted ministry spokesman Wu Qian as saying at a news conference. "The international community is increasingly aware of the true nature of the American side as a source of lies," calling on the United States to "act in a manner befitting its status as a major power and stop fabricating lies for selfish interests."
In response to a query about a media report on secret campaigns launched by the United States to discredit Chinese COVID-19 vaccines and aid provided by China around the world, Wu said: "This is not the first lie the US side has fabricated to China and it will not be the last, from the alleged 'Chinese military threat' to the 'cyber attacks from China'.
