SANA'A June 29. 2024 (Saba) - The Minister of Foreign Affairs in the caretaker government, Engineer Hisham Sharaf, sent a written message to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, Ahmed Attaf.
In his message, the Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed the Republic of Yemen’s appreciation for the principled position of the Algerian Republic rejecting the military aggression and the comprehensive siege imposed on our country, indicating that is not a strange position for Algeria, which represents an important symbol of the countries defending the right of countries to defend themselves and determine their fate.
He stressed that the Palestinian issue is the central issue of the Arab , Islamic nation , of all free people in the world, and that the position and decision of the Yemeni leadership to target the Israeli aggression came as a result of responding to what the Yemeni people feel towards Palestine , its people , called on it to take its humanitarian , legal position and decision in defending the lives of the innocent Palestinian brothers who are helping.
The scourge of the Israeli occupation since 1948, with financial, political, military and logistical support from a number of major countries. Unfortunately, a number of brothers have recently abandoned defending the Palestinian cause and moving towards free normalization with the Israeli enemy.
Minister Sharaf added that targeting ships owned by the Israeli enemy or heading to , from occupied Palestinian ports is closely linked to ending the Israeli aggression and the entry of humanitarian, medicine, food and fuel aid into Gaza Strip without any obstacles.
He concluded his message by emphasizing the desire of the Yemeni leadership in Sana'a to strengthen joint cooperation between Yemen and Algeria in all fields and permanent coordination between them, especially in the post-aggression phase against Yemen, because this is beneficial for the benefit of the two brotherly peoples, as well as the interests of the Arab and Islamic nation.
