HODEIDA June 29. 2024 (Saba) - The Undersecretary of Hodeida Province for Services Affairs, Muhammad Suleiman Halisi, inaugurated the distribution of wheelchairs to 250 people with special needs, funded by the Fund for the Care and Rehabilitation of the Disabled.
During the inauguration at the Fund’s branch headquarters in the province, Agent Halisi listened to an explanation from the branch director, Walid Al-Shawafi, about the efforts being made to care for the disabled , the difficulties and challenges in light of the repercussions the country is going through as a result of the aggression and siege.
Agent Halisi called on the concerned authorities and philanthropists to take the initiative to support this segment that needs care and attention to alleviate the suffering of the disabled, facilitate their movement , mobility, and improve their health condition.
While the director of Al Shawafi Disabled Care and Rehabilitation Fund branch, he pointed out the importance of meeting the needs of people with disabilities in light of the difficult circumstances resulting from the continued aggression and siege, which affected the level of services and care provided to this segment, which requires the support and cooperation of everyone.
