SANA'A June 30, 2024 (Saba) - Capital Sana'a First undersecretary Khaled al-Madani and member of the Shura Council Abdulwasie al-Ammari on Sunday inspected the progress of work on the sewage and road construction projects in Maeen district.
Al-Madani and al-Ammari inspected the implementation of the first phase of the sewage network project in the Al-Sunaina neighborhood, at a value of 119 million and 500 thousand, funded by the Local Council of the Capital Sana'a and with community contribution.
They listened to an explanation from the engineers about the work on the project, which includes five lanes with a sewage network connection of 2,100 meters in length as a first phase under the supervision of the General Administration of Community Initiatives Projects in the Secretariat.
They also reviewed the progress of work on the project to pave and level the street linking Asr and al-Sunaina streams, with a length of 700 meters, funded by the the Capital Sana'a and implemented by the paving unit of the Public Works Office.
Al-Madani explained that this visit comes within the framework of the Capital leadership's interest in implementing service and development projects that meet the needs of citizens in the district, praising the efforts of the district leadership and the contribution of community members in implementing the two projects.
He stressed the importance of combining everyone's efforts to improve the level of performance and provide services to citizens, and activate the role of community initiatives in the service and development aspect and achieve local development goals.
