NEW DELHI June 30. 2024 (Saba) - Indian local authorities on Sunday said at least five people were killed and ten others were injured in an explosion inside a factory in the southern Indian state of Telangana.
An explosion occurred yesterday inside a glass manufacturing factory in a town in Ranga Reddy region, southwest of the state capital, killing at least five workers, and wounding ten others who were taken to hospital, the New China News Agency, Xinhua, quoted the authorities as saying.
The victims have been identified as being from the state of Bihar state, indicating that the explosion was caused by high pressure in the autoclave, the authorities added.
It is noteworthy that the autoclave is a machine used to carry out industrial and scientific processes that require high temperature and pressure.
