OCCUPIED AL-QUDS July 04. 2024 (Saba) - The legal adviser to the government of the Zionist enemy, Ghali Behrav Miara, on Thursday called on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to close the "Sde Timan" desert detention center "immediately."
According to Palestine Online, Mayara's demand came against the backdrop of a petition filed by Zionist organizations to the Supreme Court to close the prison after local and international reports of widespread violations of detainees from the Gaza Strip there.
It is estimated that since the beginning of the war on Gaza in early October, the enemy authorities have arrested hundreds of Palestinians from the Strip in Sde Timan amid widespread human rights violations.
Leaked photos from inside the "Sda Timan" detention center in the Negev desert revealed that the enemy army continues to torture Palestinian prisoners and violate their rights in response to the Al-Aqsa flood operation.
Sde Timan is a military and enemy army camp where more than 1,000 Palestinian detainees from the Gaza Strip are held.
The leaked photos included dozens of Palestinian prisoners inside one of the detention facilities with their eyes blindfolded, and they are not allowed to approach or communicate with each other.
