SANA'A July 08. 2024 (Saba) - The Supreme Judicial Council held its weekly meeting today,Monday, headed by the President of the Council, Judge Ahmed Yahya Al-Mutawakkil.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Judicial Council blessed what was stated in the historic speech of the revolution leader, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, yesterday, Sunday, on the occasion of the anniversary of the Prophet’s migration. May the best prayers and most sincere greetings be extended to its owner and his family... stressing full support for the paths that would correct the situation in state institutions and address the existing imbalances including the judicial institution.
He directed the Public Prosecutor and the Head of the Judicial Inspection Authority to follow up on discipline and adherence to attendance and to take the necessary measures against those absent from work in accordance with the law.
The Council approved the annual operational plan for the Council and its General Secretariat for the year 1446 AH, based on the presentation of the Secretary-General of the Council.
The plan included a number of goals and axes that would raise the level of the Council’s work performance , its role in enhancing and monitoring the performance of judicial bodies.
The Council reviewed some grievances referred by the Office of the Presidency of the Republic regarding reconsidering some judicial rulings issued, and took appropriate decisions regarding them.
It also discussed a number of topics on its agenda and took appropriate decisions regarding them.
