MAHWIT July 10. 2024 (Saba) - Work on the maintenance project of the retaining wall of the central market in the governorate center, which was demolished due to rains, was inaugurated on Wednesday in Al Mahwit Governorate.
The project includes the construction of a market retaining wall at a cost of 23 million riyals funded by the Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit at the Ministry of Finance.
At the inauguration, the head of the executive team of the Intervention Unit, Eng. Fayez Mohieldin, explained that the works that will be implemented include the reconstruction of a retaining wall to protect the market to ensure the sustainability of the wall from any future slippages or demolitions.
He stressed the unit's keenness to implement service projects that contribute to the development of infrastructure. He praised the support and cooperation of the leadership of the local authority in the governorate to serve the community.
