Tehran rejects NATO claims on Iranian military supplies to Russia in Ukrainian war
[11/ July/2024]
TEHRAN July 11. 2024 (Saba) - Iran on Thursday rejected allegations made in the final communiqué of the NATO summit in Washington claiming that Tehran sent military supplies to Russia in the Ukrainian war, considering them baseless and politically targeted, and totally rejected.

In response to part of the NATO summit statement in Washington, Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanani expressed regret that what we are witnessing in Ukraine is the result of NATO's provocative policies and actions centered on America, which are still in full swing, Tasnim International News Agency reported.

As we have repeatedly declared, any attempts to link the Ukrainian war with bilateral cooperation between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Russia are of a tendentious political nature and aimed at legitimizing interventions and the continued flow of military aid to the West to Ukraine.

He stressed that the strategy of the Islamic Republic of Iran is always based on working towards strengthening the constructive and stabilizing role and establishing sustainable security in the region and the world, stressing that we have never provided Russia marches in the Ukrainian conflict and we still emphasize the political approach to this crisis and the establishment of sustainable peace.
