IBB July 13. 2024 (Saba) - The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation (SCMCHA), Ibrahim Al-Hamli, discussed on Saturday in Ibb province, with the Director of the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNEPS) in Yemen, Rehana Zwar, the level of project implementation in the province.
The meeting reviewed the projects implemented in the province in the field of maintaining the main roads and entrances to Ibb city, as well as the western ring road of Yarim city, and projects to provide electricity to health facilities, as well as water and sanitation projects in a number of areas of the province.
Al-Hamali explained that the matrix of projects in the procince that was presented to UNEPS to implement the projects touches the needs of the citizen and contributes to his development , alleviates the suffering and burdens resulting from the aggression and siege, nine years ago.
He pointed out the importance of the projects implemented in the province in the roads, water and sanitation sectors, as well as rural water projects according to the plan approved by the Council.
For her part, Director of the UNEPS Office, Rehana Zwar, confirmed the implementation of the projects approved by the Council for the province, and there are several projects that have become ready, appreciating the role of the Supreme Council in facilitating the work of the UNEPS Office in Yemen.
