Discussing Local Administration committee Ministry tasks to evaluate revenue & service offices work in Al Mahwit

MAHWIT July 13. 2024 (Saba) - An expanded meeting in Al Mahwit Province on Saturday headed by the Secretary General of the Council for the Province, Dr. Ali Al-Zikam, discussed the tasks of the committee charged by the Ministry of Local Administration with evaluating and developing work in revenue and service offices.

The meeting reviewed the committee’s oversight role over the activities and tasks of the service and revenue executive offices, controlling the collection process, and ensuring the integrity of the procedures followed in collecting them.

For his part, the head of the committee, Muhammad Farea, indicated that the committee will assist the revenue authorities , the local authority by evaluating local , shared resources, the collection process, and the procedures followed.

He pointed out that the committee will go out to the field to inventory the revenue sources and fill out the data required by the revenue authorities, in addition to carrying out field visits to the executive offices.

The meeting approved the formation of a local team to support the committee assigned by the Ministry to participate in training work and assist in gathering information.
