SANA'A July 16. 2024 (Saba) - The Ministry of Human Rights, in partnership with the Ministry of Civil Service and Insurance, on Tuesday launched a two-day awareness workshop on the code of professional conduct for its staff.
Caretaker Minister of Human Rights, Ali Al-Dailami, emphasized the global prevalence of conduct codes and their role in promoting Islamic values in daily and social life. He highlighted the workshop's importance in fostering positive behaviors and addressing challenges caused by aggression, such as salary cessation and price hikes.
The workshop aims to deepen participants' understanding of the conduct code and the accompanying guide for improving services and simplifying procedures, which will expand the Ministry's services from 16 to 72.
Undersecretary of the Ministry of Civil Service and Insurance, Abdullah Haider, stressed that the code is timely for enhancing performance and service delivery, unifying efforts, and developing state institutions' performance.
He underscored the necessity of structured and unbiased service provision.
The workshop also featured presentations by Ministry officials, including a detailed review of the conduct code's provisions and its role in regulating employee relationships and combating corruption.
