SANA'A July 16. 2024 (Saba) - The capital, Sana'a, witnessed on Tuesday afternoon a major mass march in commemoration of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, "Ashura" under the slogan "far from us is disgrace".

The crowds stressed that the Yemeni people derive from Ashura the solidity of position, determination and will, and follow the approach and revolution of Imam Hussein in the face of the forces of tyranny and global arrogance America and Israel and their lackeys and agents.

The crowds, which flocked from all districts of the Capital Sana'a and Sana'a Governorate, renewed loyalty and attachment to the master of martyrs, grandson of prophet Mohammed, adhering to the values and principles for which he sacrificed, and rejecting humiliation and submission.

It chanted slogans of freedom and innocence from the enemies of Allah and Hussein's slogan "far from us is disgrace", and emphasizing the steadfastness of the Yemeni people and his continuation in the footsteps of Imam Hussein in the face of the nation's enemies America and Israel and their agents in the region who exert pressure on the Yemeni people against the background of his heroic stance in support of the Palestinian people.

The masses stressed that Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, represents an important and great symbol of Islam, and does not belong to a sect, and that the memory of Ashura represents a revolution in the face of tyranny.

It also stressed that those who prepare the stage for being ruled by America and Israel are worse than those who drew their swords in the face of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, stressing the importance of drawing lessons from the anniversary of Ashura to change the reality of the nation and strengthen its steadfastness and strength to confront its enemies and their conspiracies, and to support the oppressed Palestinian people and their resistance in Gaza.


It considered the commemoration of Ashura as an embodiment of the love and attachment of the Yemeni people to the master of martyrs and to follow the path of the flags of guidance in the face of tyrants and the trio of global evil until victory is achieved.

The crowds confirmed the solidity of the position of the Yemen leadership, army and people in supporting the Palestinian people and resistance, through the military operations of the Yemeni armed forces, the continuation of million-man marches, official and popular events and activities, and the boycott of American and Zionist goods.

It reiterated the support and mandate of the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyid. Abdul Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, to take all appropriate options to deter the forces of aggression and global arrogance and support Gaza and the people of Palestine, and to be fully prepared and ready to fight the battle of the promised conquest and holy jihad.

It strongly condemned the continuation of the massacres and heinous crimes committed by the Zionist and American enemies against the Palestinian people. Condemning the lax and shameful attitudes of the Arabic and Islamic countries towards the starvation, abuse and genocide to which the Palestinian people are subjected.
