SANA'A July 17. 2024 (Saba) - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned on Wednesday in the strongest terms the attack on a military base in northwestern Pakistan that killed eight Pakistani soldiers.
In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the ministry reiterated that these terrorist practices have nothing to do with Islam and Muslims, and that they are a miserable reflection of a Zionist project implemented through takfiri elements that have recruited themselves to distort the nation in the service of global Zionism.
The statement reiterated the Republic of Yemen's firm position against extremism and terrorism in all its forms and manifestations as a threat to international peace and security and contrary to religious and human values.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its sincere condolences to the families of the victims, and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
The Republic of Yemen stands by the brotherly Pakistani people in confronting terrorism.
