TOKYO July 21. 2024 (Saba) -Activists and groups of survivals from the American atom bomb in Hiroshima on Sunday called for Israel to be excluded from attending the anniversary ceremony on 6 August.
The ceremony is not a suitable place for Israel, the groups said in remarks carried by The C.N.N., citing the Zionist persistent genocidal war against Gaza Strip, where nearly 39,000 civilians were killed.
Despite these calls and grievances experienced by its people, authorities in Hiroshima City say they "don't intend to exclude Israel" from a ceremony calling for global peace.
According to The C.N.N., the authorities in the Japanese city of Nagasaki said they have yet to decide about inviting Israel to the "peace ceremony" on the ninth of next month.
The Israeli war on Gaza Strip could prevent the ceremony from going smoothly, the authorities added, noting that it is not a matter of objection, but a practical perception of resultant ramifications.
