BAYDA July 22. 2024 (Saba) - Afar Customs Center in Al-Bayda Province destroyed 7 tons of seized goods that were not authorized to enter the country and that were immoral.
The director of the center, Fahd Hazza, explained to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that the damaged goods included expired goods rejected by the Standards Authority, and goods violating morals and Islamic values.
He pointed out that the destruction process was carried out in accordance with established procedures and in the presence of relevant authorities representatives , stressing that there will be no complacency in seizing expired, smuggled and unauthorized goods.
Hazza stressed that customs is the first line of defense in seizing and destroying expired goods that do not meet specifications.
