GAZA July 22. 2024 (Saba) - The Zionist enemy forces forced the Palestinian citizens to evacuate large areas of the eastern neighborhoods of Khan Yunis city in the southern Gaza Strip on Monday, coinciding with intensive air and artillery bombardment of the area.
Although the enemy army previously claimed that the same area it is demanding to evacuate today is within the humanitarian and safe areas, it returned through a statement issued by its spokesman, claiming that remaining in that area has become dangerous, even though it is basically destroyed and was subjected to intensive bombardment previously, and the citizens returned to it because there was no other option or place to resort to.
The Palestinian News Agency reported that immediately after the decision was issued by the army, the intensive bombing process began from the air and land, without giving the citizens a chance to prepare themselves, which led to the martyrdom of at least 12 martyrs and the injury of dozens.
About a week ago, the occupation army committed a massacre in the Al-Mawasi area, which it claims is safe, resulting in the martyrdom of 90 citizens and the injury of 300, in a series of raids targeting tents and places of displacement of citizens.
On May 6, the occupation forces forced citizens to evacuate the Rafah area, the Rafah camps, Al-Shaboura, and the "Administrative, Al-Janina, and Khirbet Al-Adas" neighborhoods, in Blocks 6, 7, 8, 9, 17, 25, 26, 27 and 31, under the pretext that they are dangerous combat zones.
Last April, the occupation forced citizens to evacuate the eastern areas of Rafah city, and move to Khan Yunis and Al-Mawasi, despite the widespread destruction there
