BETHLEHEM July 26. 2024 (Saba) - The Zionist enemy forces on Friday detained Palestinians and stormed various areas in Bethlehem and several towns and villages in Jenin and its camp.

The Palestinian News Agency, WAFA, quoted a security source as saying that the occupation forces detained Yousef Ibrahim Abdullah Alian and Hussein Mahmoud Hussein Abayat for long hours while they were grazing sheep in the village of Kisan to the east.

In the same context, the occupation forces stormed the village of Husan to the west and searched citizens' vehicles and fired sound bombs and toxic gas at them.

They also stormed the village of Marah Ma'ala to the south, and the village of Al-Jab'a to the south, and distributed threatening leaflets to citizens in the event that they approach the racist annexation wall adjacent to the village and sitting on their lands.

The Zionist enemy forces also stormed the city of Jenin and the outskirts of its camp at dawn on Friday, and carried out extensive raids and searches, and arrested at least three citizens amidst the outbreak of confrontations and clashes.

Local sources reported that a large force of the occupation army and its military vehicles stormed the city from several axes, and began raids, searches and arrests, which led to the outbreak of confrontations and scattered clashes in several neighborhoods, during which soldiers fired bullets and sound and gas bombs.

The sources indicated that the outskirts of the city witnessed large military gatherings of the Israeli occupation forces from all directions, adding that the occupation drones and reconnaissance aircraft flew in the sky of the city and the camp, while a number of snipers were deployed on the roofs of several buildings.

The Israeli raids included assaulting citizens, detaining them, and destroying the contents of homes and store fronts, including the destruction and smashing of Sheikh Thaer Alawneh's library.

Local sources reported that the occupation forces arrested a number of young men, including, according to the sources, Mahmoud Abu al-Fahd, Anas Qaqour, from Wadi Izz al-Din, and Mahmoud Jarar, from Jabal Abu Dhahir.

In the same context, the Israeli occupation forces stormed the towns of Jaba' and Zababdeh and the village of Sanur in Jenin Governorate at dawn Friday.

Security sources reported that the occupation forces launched a wide-scale search campaign in the neighborhoods of the two towns and the village, amidst the firing of light and sound bombs, without any arrests being reported.
