HAJJAH August 03. 2024 (Saba) - Students in Hajjah province on Saturday took to the streets in a massive show of support for Gaza and solidarity with Palestinian prisoners held by the Zionist regime.
The protests were organized in response to a call from the late leader Ismail Haniyeh.
Demonstrators condemned the ongoing atrocities and genocidal acts committed by the Zionist forces in Gaza and occupied Palestine, including the recent assassination of Haniyeh.
The demonstrators also criticized the inaction and complicity of certain Arab regimes, accusing them of failing to support the Palestinian cause and the plight of its people.
They expressed unwavering solidarity with Palestinian prisoners, who endure severe suffering under Zionist detention.
The marches, attended by governor's deputies Hamoud al-Maghribi and Mohammed al-Qadi, along with security and educational leaders, called for a continued struggle against the Zionist entity and a reinforcement of support for the Palestinian cause and the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
A statement issued during the protests urged the international community to hold the Zionist regime accountable for its violations and called for the release of Palestinian resistance prisoners held by Arab regimes.
The statement emphasized the need for global solidarity to expose and combat the ongoing injustices faced by Palestinians.
