GAZA August 17. 2024 (Saba) - Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad movement, said in a statement issued on Saturday that its fighters were engaged in fierce clashes with the soldiers of the Zionist enemy in the axes of progress east of the Qarara area, north of Khan Younis.
The Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades said that its fighters were able to "detonate two anti-personnel devices in two pockets of enemy forces, and clash with the remaining soldiers with machine guns, leaving them killed or wounded in the vicinity of the University College in the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood, south of Gaza City.
Qassam Battalions, the military wing of Hamas, aired a video clip for targeting a building, where Israeli soldiers were holed up, by a suicide plane east of the city of Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip.
Qassam military media published a video clip documenting scenes from an operation carried out by the Battalions last Thursday, and shows "targeting a building where enemy soldiers barricaded themselves with a drone east of the city of Khan Younis."
Earlier on Saturday, Israeli news websites reported that at least 11 soldiers were wounded in a serious security incident in the ongoing battles with Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
