GAZA August 17. 2024 (Saba) - The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas called on the international community and the United Nations on Saturday to protect Palestinian civilians and work to stop the "brutal crimes of the Zionist enemy against them."
The movement said in a statement that "the violations of the Israeli occupation continue with the support of Washington and Western capitals that provide cover for the 'extremist' government to continue the genocide."
It pointed out that "the Israeli occupation continues to target defenseless civilians, especially in the central Gaza Strip governorate, which is a major displacement center for hundreds of thousands from the north and south of the Strip."
