CHICAGO August 19. 2024 (Saba) - Dozens of activists organized a mass demonstration in front of the "welcome dinner" for the American Democratic Party delegates who are participating in the party's national conference, which kicks off today, Monday, in Chicago city, Illinois.
The Palestinian News Agency reported that this came to pressure the delegates representing all American states to demand an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.
The activists expressed their launching of protest activities during the conference, despite police repression, to force the current Democratic administration to stop military funding to the occupying state, and support the "genocide" that Israel has been committing against the Palestinians since October of last year.
