BEIRUT August 19. 2024 (Saba) - The Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced no Monday, that its permanent mission to the United Nations has filed a new complaint with the UN Security Council regarding the Zionist warplanes' violation of the sound barrier over Lebanese regions, including the capital Beirut.
The Lebanese Foreign Ministry said in a statement that these violations constitute a flagrant violation of Lebanon's sovereignty and airspace, and of Security Council Resolution No. 1701.
It noted that the provisions of international humanitarian law prohibit all methods of collective punishment and moral intimidation practiced by the Zionist entity by terrorizing all civilians, especially children, and spreading panic among them.
