SANA'A August 21. 2024 (Saba) - The Joint Committee for the Preparation of Price Lists and Specifications for Works and Supplies Items held a meeting on Wednesday, headed by the Chairman of the Supreme Authority for Tenders and Auctions Control, Eng. Abdulmalik Al-Arshi.
The meeting, which included a member of the Authority, Dr. Yassin Al-Kharasani, and representatives of the Transport and Public Works Ministry, and the Customs Authority, was devoted to discussing the final draft of the price list for road works items.
In the meeting, the Chairman of the Committee, Eng. Khaled Al-Hadrami, and a member of the Committee, Eng. Ibrahim Al-Kabsi, reviewed the results of the committee's work in the past period regarding the foundations and standards that were taken into consideration to prepare price lists for road construction and maintenance.
The committee approved the price lists and specifications for road construction , maintenance items, and submitted them to the Council of Ministers for approval and issuance (as a first stage).
According to Al-Hadrami, the joint committee will continue to hold its meetings to complete the review of the building works items' analysis and prepare the final lists for that (as a second stage).
